The weeklong day camp for grades 1-12 (as of 2020-2021) includes stories, value discussions, stotrams, vedic chants, music and bhajans, yoga, Bhagavad Gita chanting- Chapter 15, arts and crafts, nature time, games and activities based on the camp theme. Camp activities will also include gardening, cooking and other life skills with a spiritual touch.
This is also a special opportunity for children to have in-depth sessions with Lakshmi auntie– all the questions they always wanted to ask. Older children will be led to subtler thinking and developing a keen vision of life and themselves.
We are happy to invite students entering 1st grade (who were in K last year) to register for this camp. The registration deadline has been extended and will close on August 3, 2021.
Registration: $250/child for the 1-week camp includes camp book, all materials and wholesome vegetarian lunch and snacks.
Please note that all campers and parents (at least one parent) must attend a brief orientation on August 8, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the ashram. All emergency /allergy information will be verified at this time. The camp team will go over the camp schedule and procedures. Parents/students will have an opportunity to get their questions/concerns addressed.
Campers will be presenting what they learnt on Aug. 22, 2021- on the first day of the CMSD 2021-2022 session.
